Todays The Crowns news is dedicated to Temonays who made a very cool The Crowns wallpaper that you can use as a background on your computer. We noticed he posted his fanart in a comment on one of our news posts and we all thought it was so creative it deserved some extra attention on our homepage. You can download the fanart by Temonays at the bottom of this news post.

We love it when you guys & girls make fanart (and we’ve already noticed you’re a creative bunch! :)) so we’d like to ask for your feedback on how we can make it easier and more fun for you to make fanart. Please leave a comment with your ideas!

We want to thank everybody for their support with the launch of our last song and video.  Our video ended up being in the top 5 best rated, favourited and discussed music videos of the world (it even made it to #2 on the discussed list!). We did have a problem with most of our fans on youtube not being notified of our new video, but we’re working with youtube to fix this for our next release.

The next video will be ready in about 3-4 weeks, lets see if we can top the last one! It’s going to be an acoustic song, with a similar feel to Milk Was a Bad Choice (but better!).

PS - We’ll post some new twitpics soon so you won’t have the crazy underpants-on-head-people (against swine flu!) staring at you anymore when you visit our site. Damn you Valentine and your crazy pics!

We’ve added some cool (and sometimes rather disturbing) pictures of the day we shot the Let It Go youtube video. The entire video was shot on a budget of about two Happymeals and lots and lots of hard work (and tea with ’speculaas’ - go google it!).

After months of work and and several coffee overdoses we’re now launching the beta of the new The Crowns website. We wanted to give you a better way of reading about us and communicating with us, because our previous site was basically just a picture. With this site you’ll be able to talk with eachother (and us) on the forums, read our bio, download our music, view our pictures and much more.

The site is still in beta, and lots of stuff is probably still broken. So if you run into any problems, please email us or leave a comment and we’ll try to fix it asap!
